Fast Search
Locate32 can quickly find files and directories based on file names by using a database to store file information. This makes searches particularly fast compared to some other methods that search live on the file system.
Lightweight
The application is resource-efficient, requiring minimal CPU and memory usage, which makes it suitable for both older and modern systems without impacting performance.
Portable
Locate32 can be used as a portable application, meaning it can run directly from a USB drive without the need for installation, making it convenient for use on multiple computers.
Customizable
Users can customize the database update schedule and what folders or disk drives are included, allowing for tailored search capabilities.
