Never share your private key/recovery phrase (same thing in different form). I made one exception to this, which was to use myetherwallet.com to generate my private key from the reovery phrase, then use my private key to import my account into metamask. Source: over 2 years ago
In order to prevent any issues with wallet access after the sunsetting of MEW v5, try out our current version of MEW at https://myetherwallet.com. Source: over 2 years ago
If you have the mnemonic seed phrase, you can find out what the corresponding Private Key/Ethereum address is, for example, with myetherwallet.com. However, any Ethereum wallet works for this, Electrum or Exodus are also legit choices and always safer choices than an online wallet provider. Source: almost 3 years ago
Visit website to create public and private key (like myetherwallet.com). Source: about 3 years ago
Thank you! I just checked that. The account is newly created, it was only connected to myetherwallet.com. Maybe the whole Metamask wallet was compromised so the hacker can access to all the accounts within it. Source: over 3 years ago
I'm able to see them if I connect my wallet on https://myetherwallet.com/. Source: over 3 years ago
Hi, I used to send some offline txt with a paper wallet (in an airgapped device) and the useful "send offline helper" from myetherwallet.com website. I can't find anymore the send offline helper page, is still avariable? Can I send a transaction with an older version of the wallet or should I update it (can I have problem paying the right amount of gas both base and priority fee if the wallet was installed before... I found this old reddit post from a myetherwallet.com dev talking about how many people are having issues with this: https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/452na1/comment/czwxgdn/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3. Source: over 3 years ago
Polygon and BSC networks are not available directly in the iOS app yet, but you can access them by connecting to MEW web with your MEW wallet app (go to myetherwallet.com, select MEW wallet access, and scan QR code with app, then change networks in upper right). Source: over 3 years ago
If you only want to send ETH, you can do it on Ledger Live. If you want to send a token that is not visible on Ledger Live you could try myetherwallet.com, it's one ETH wallets that supports Ledger devices and it supports more tokens than Ledger Live. Source: over 3 years ago
A list of 'addresses to interact with' appears when you use a phrase on MEW web interface, NOT in MEW wallet app, so you might be trying the recovery on your phone but you must be doing it through your phone browser by going to the myetherwallet.com website (which is still not recommended). When restoring in the app, you will not get a list, but rather only the first account card will be generated, with the option... Source: over 3 years ago
Myetherwallet.com has been around for a loooong time. Source: over 3 years ago
And, if you like MEW, you can still go to that website and use it just like you always have. Just go to https://myetherwallet.com. Source: over 3 years ago
I visited my Etherium wallet for the first time in over 4 years today and found it had 3 additional coins attached to the ETH coin for some reason. I guess these must have come from hard forks somewhere along the road?Anyway, the wallet has a swap function, so I figured to swap the one that has a bit of value to it to ETH, so I swapped it.Total value of the LPT that I swapped was about $50. Afterwards I saw my... Source: over 3 years ago
I guess I could also add a few other questions: what's the best way to get experience as a token holder and vote on proposals? Or just be part of the process as much as possible? Obviously buying the coins is step one. But then what? I have a Trezor. Do I just magically get notifications sent to myetherwallet.com every time there is a proposal or new hire decision for the DAO? Source: over 3 years ago
You can send it to any ethereum address your ledger creates and then if you actually want to see it, just head over to myetherwallet.com and verify it's in there. Although you can do the same thing with your wallet address on ether scan, it's up to you. Source: over 3 years ago
- I have a Trezor with an old Firmare 1.5 - I cannot access my ETH because myetherwallet.com wants me to update my trezor - I do NOT have the seeds anymore (and so as I understand the device is going to get whiped. I found these old versions of myetherwallet here) https://github.com/MyEtherWallet/MyEtherWallet/releases/tag/v5.0.0-beta.0. Source: over 3 years ago
Regarding your question, not all ERC-20 tokens are shown on Ledger Live, copy your wallet address in etherscan.io, you'll see all your ETH and ERC-20 tokens. If you want to interact with the tokens that are not visible on Ledger Live, you can use myetherwallet.com and connect your Ledger (YOU DON'T HAVE TO ENTER YOUR SEED!). Source: over 3 years ago
You can use myetherwallet.com and add your exodus ether wallet there. Source: over 3 years ago
After withdrawing MTV to your ETH address, you'll notice that your balance is not reflected on your ETH balance in MetaMask, but it will show your MTV token balance in MEW (myetherwallet.com). This quick guide will show you how to view your MTV balance via MM, stake MM, and stake your earned rewards. Source: over 3 years ago
