  I'm still happy with Apple Notes for its integration with all of Apple Apps, easy sharing with family members, etc. I have tamed it more as an ephemeral and quick Notes App. The notes that starts there are usually transferred to a more permanent and organized Plain-Text setup[1] (currently guardian-ed by Obsidian).   I used to think like that, stored everything in Pinboard, tagged properly.   Could also just take notes as a form of collection! Obsidian seems cool (though I haven't used it yet either), and Notational Velocity is mac-only but pretty fun. Anything interesting or useful that you might want to remember can be a note, and then it's fun to look over all the stuff you put down...
