When we needed a tool large enough to support ongoing marketing projects, Monday was the best solution that was trialled in comparison to other alternative platforms that didn't scale as well with our needs.
Based on our record, monday.com seems to be a lot more popular than Dex. While we know about 335 links to monday.com, we've tracked only 4 mentions of Dex. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I personally feel that most “Personal CRM” is kinda tarpit idea because the moment you are “managing” and nurturing it, it becomes professional/commercial. Hi Dekhan, Have you tried out Dex? getdex.com It offers this functionality and might also be helpful for inspiration if you are building your personal CRM. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm in the space in that I co-founded a company called Connect The Dots (ctd.ai) that certainly has the potential to solve this problem, but we're not focused on the PRM space right now (see point above re: unwillingness to pay). Perhaps down the road. The two commercial tools that come to mind are: - Dex (https://getdex.com/) Although neither have really nailed it (yet). +1 to this. I use Dex https://getdex.com/ and I see a few other apps in the feed too. There is clearly some market demand. Life gets busy and it helps to have something more than just a stock contacts app. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Some tools that I would use to stay organized include Jira, monday.com, Notion, or Trello. Each has its own advantages. Personally, I use monday dev. It lets you keep track of all your projects and tasks in one place and collaborate with your team in real time. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
With the newer, online work management tools that have project management features (ClickUp, Monday.com, etc.), several have free versions and you have the ability to create a custom field that you can use for the assignee, ignoring the built-in field that requires a licensed user or guest. I'm thinking about using small to medium group projects in my classroom to teach students the basics of project management (breaking big tasks into smaller ones, assigning roles, identifying dependencies, estimating effort/duration, tracking progress, etc.) I can do it using google sheets, but I was curious if anyone here has leveraged online tools like monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc. In the educational space. I've made my life a LOT easier by starting an organized task list - I used monday.com but you can use whatever works best for you. I categorized things by small, medium and large projects, and low-med-high priorities. Source: 6 months ago
