Keep your hands on the keyboard and boost your productivity! Shortcat is a keyboard tool for Mac OS X that lets you 'click' buttons and control your apps with a few keystrokes. Think of it as Spotlight for the user interface.
I love Shortcat (https://shortcat.app/). It lets you do almost anything on your screen without having to leave your keyboard.

The Finder, reinvented. Path Finder is an award-winning file browser and management application for Mac OS X.
Yes, I was thinking the same.. For several years, I'm pretty happy with PathFinder by Cocoatech: https://cocoatech.io/ The things I miss the most when I accidentically open a Finder window: Cut files wit CMD+X to move them (never understood this when coming from Windows), cycle the files in a folder (start on top if you reach bottom and vice versa) and the comprehensive info bar on the right for files and folders. Give it a try :).

The most advanced dual pane file manager and file transfer client for macOS.
I use Forklift instead : https://binarynights.com/ I can use it as an orthodox file manager. I also like using it to access remote filesystems over nfs and sftp, and also S3 buckets. It also works well with Dropbox and iCloud. There is a great sync feature to keep source and target directories synchronised. It's also good for diffing directories at a glance. Plus the regex file rename feature is often handy for me - I have a few presets saved for various purposes.

Rename, Organize, Quickly find your screenshots on Mac
My one and only tip: use AI file renaming: https://keepitshot.com. This is the app I have recently fallen in love with. It has drastically improved my file search experience with Spotlight. I am not affiliated with them.

Start with a single keyboard shortcut to access and control every aspect of your digital life. Use LaunchBar and improve your workflow now.
Launchbar[0] is also still around - not actively developed, but actively maintained. Happy user since 10 years already, even though I own a lifetime Alfred license. [0]: https://obdev.at/products/launchbar/index.html.
