I like using Contexts on the Mac as replacement: https://contexts.co. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
I use the Contexts [1] app, couldn't live without it (not affiliated...) It shows me all open Windows and in which Desktop, in its Sidebar (I've disabled the macOS dock.) Also the Cmd-Tab functionalities are nice, and I can use "Fn + [a single key] " shortcut to focus an app. Would recommend. [1] https://contexts.co/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Thanks for your feedback, I'll have to give TST in the Firefox sidebar another try... > "I make use of ctrl-uparrow to switch between browser and VSCode" I use the Contexts app (Fast Search) for that - https://contexts.co/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago

You should try contexts! It also has a bunch of other features and is highly configurable. I'm not one to normally pay for software, but this is probably up there with some of the best $10 I ever spent. https://contexts.co/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
I'm already using [Contexts](https://contexts.co/) for this purpose, and I don't think I need anything else. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Hi, for my workflow y need to see all the open windows from the same app: for example all the open documents from word. I am using Contexts (https://contexts.co/) and it is a really great tool but it add one more dock. Are there any tool to see this on the dock or something similar? Source: almost 2 years ago
Contexts (Paid) Switch between application windows effortlessly — with Fast Search, a better Command-Tab, a Sidebar or even a quick gesture. Includes fantastic features for multiple spaces & multiple displays. Probably my top pick for an app switcher, although I still prefer AltTab. 😉. Source: about 2 years ago
I just found contexts and it's fantastic, it's just like alt tab but also comes with a spotlight esq quick switcher and supports vim jk by default. It's also really useful for switching between desktops by turning "reduce motion" on. https://contexts.co/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Here's what I would like to achieve: I currently use contexts) to quickly switch between apps. However one downside of this is, that the mouse cursor won't switch displays automatically. So for example when I am inside app A on display 1 and switch to app B on display 2 my cursor remains on display 1. However sometimes I need the mouse and when I do I use a special layer on my keyboard to emulate mouse movement.... Source: about 2 years ago
Https://contexts.co Arguably the Best App switcher ever ! Source: about 2 years ago
Contexts is an app switcher (like cmd-tab or alt-tab) but the reason I like it is because it has a search feature that does a fuzzy search on open applications so you can type a couple letters to switch instead of having to cycle through a list like normal cmd-tab. You can actually create something almost identical in hammerspoon but I like contexts. Source: over 2 years ago

Not exactly the same thing but Contexts can be docked in a screen corner giving sort of vertical taskbar. Source: over 2 years ago

Two apps that remove a lot of my frustration working with macOS' window management: - Contexts app, which makes Cmd-tab work like on Windows/Linux: https://contexts.co/ - Rectangle (the successor to Spectacle), which has a shortcut for maximizing windows: https://rectangleapp.com/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
