ColorSlurp is my preferred color picker. It too has multiple keyboard shortcuts as well as a bunch of other great little features to make it a well-rounded picker. A big part of my job is choosing colors that are easy on the eyes and won’t over stimulate. I suggest you choose neutral colors first and then add in slightly toned down branding colors trickled throughout the space. This won't really work in your head so you will need to use some tools, I used to do this on paper, then in a text file where you can indent tasks to show they are a subtask of a bigger task, and finally I started using Tatask (Full disclosure I built it).
