I use this website which I keep pinned to my taskbar so I can have easy access to emjois. I probably use the traditional 🙂 most often. I like this 😒 one though. And one I've assigned context to is 🐙 because it looks how I feel when I'm unsure about something because to me it looks like the thought process of "Hm, I don't know. Maybe? Yeah okay!". Emojis in Chrome (and other browsers too actually) used to display the true classic Segoe UI Emoji font (ex: if I go to getemoji.com, these used to display the same emojis as Word; copy paste from that site to Word looked the same), but just a couple months ago something changed. Now it's rendering different versions of these emojis. I've ruled out an extension. Chrome is up to date. Windows 10. Whats interesting... Source: about 1 year ago

This browser add-on successfully helps you customize facebook and block some of its annoying features. Meanwhile I use it to keep tabs on friends, family, former colleagues, and others, for "free". It remains useful as a social utility for me. Source: over 1 year ago
Its unpleasantries can be mitigated some with a browser add-on, FBPurity, that lets you selectively hide annoying aspects of their interface (videos, ads not already blocked by a decent ad blocker, games, etc.). That makes it tolerable to keep using. Source: over 1 year ago
On the pc, I use fb purity, it has an option to block stories, plus it also blocks sponsored posts, and many other facebook annoyances : https://fbpurity.com. Source: about 2 years ago
This developer was also harassed by Facebook, with legal threats, etc. You can't even type in "fbpurity.com" in Messenger (try it) it's banned -- among other things they censor. Source: over 2 years ago
If and when facebook returns, I strongly suggest this browser add-on to help tailor facebook and block the content it strives to shove into your face. Source: almost 3 years ago
