Top 10 3D Model Databases: The Best Sites to Download 3D Models for 3D Printing
Thingiverse is probably one of the biggest and most popular databases. It has a very active maker community behind it and offers free-to-use STL files only. You don’t even need to open an account in order to download a 3D model from their site. Sometimes the database can seem slightly less organized than the cleaner and simpler design of sites like Pinshape and Cults.

  • Why is Cults banned from the r/3DPrinting Reddit thread?
Since then, designers have used r/3DPrinting to share links to their designs and also to bring up issues they had with cults3d.com. We’re a growing site and we’ve made mistakes, but all of these issues have been resolved and the designers are happy with the outcome. We’re convinced that everything depends on exchange and dialogue, which is why we do our utmost to resolve any concerns directly and as quickly as... Source: 10 months ago
  • Do you think this could be made into an STL by anyone??
You can always search for a knock off brand that looks pretty much exactly the same as that, like search for something like mechanical space warrior man in cults3d.com or something like that. I'm sure someone has made something inspired by this miniature. ;). Source: about 1 year ago

  • Already have a 3D printer and I want to try printing a doll. Any tips?
As for dolls..this site is something I’ve found which may work. It seems that a bunch of 3D doll making artists post their work here for sale, which makes me believe they may not be recasts as they artist themselves usually post part of the process on the listing, or the product while in their designing program. • My Death Guard Army - Two years of collecting and painting!
Prepare to be let down (or pumped up, I suppose). They're all printed. I wish I could take credit for the sculpts, but each one is printed. A) Tank with Flu by Osvaldos, B) Sickly Unicorn Class Troop Hauler by CORPSEDRAGON, and C) Nurgled Rhino by DarkGods. I bought the last one on Etsy, the others were gifts. But go to cults3d.com and search for them - I know the first two are free files! (That's the pumped... Source: about 1 year ago

  • I need your help with ARB sample files
I'm pretty sure, you'll find companies like this one which provide a nice GUI for helping with l10n or this one which offers translation services or this page that offers to convert between different formats, one of which probably has a nice GUI tool. Found them by 20 secs of googling. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Localizations in Flutter
Localise has no problem reading the json files or export to json, we recently started using it in collaboration with external translators. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Why can't Apple fully translate their iOS interface into all supported languages?
Actually I don't have "my" app. But in our app we use https://lokalise.com/ to localize it even to Norwegian. Our team is not the most expensive company in the world btw. And we don't have 1B+ users all over the world. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Markdown, Asciidoc, or reStructuredText - a tale of docs-as-code
Internationalization (i18n) pain for a documentation project is a process problem, not a feature gap. Documentation frameworks are not meant to translate your developer docs for you into the language of your choice. Some frameworks might offer i18n support, like the Crowdin support in Docusauraus v2. With Jekyll, you have to pick a theme like this one. I doubt if the reST or adoc frameworks would differ much from... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
  • I made a site that enables super simple translation management and directly integrates with the Github repository
I've been thinking about building a micro saas very similar to this after having so many issues coordinating the localization of several products I manage. The only robust options in the market are incredibly expensive (for example https://lokalise.com/). Source: almost 2 years ago
