  • Error Launching Web App Proceeding Update from 6.2318.4 ► 6.2320.1
This morning I found myself facing this error once again. Updated to the next revision .2 but still had same issue. This time I wasn't even able to log into the dashlane.com site. After some additional troubleshooting, I noticed the vault was actually being loaded just before throwing up this error, which eventually lead me to settle on this issue likely being related to a conflict with the user-agent string. • I got hacked by phishing and my iCloud/stolen iPhone was accessed and removed by someone from my account, a JS script ran in my phone Safari, can some expert help me understand if it stole anything else or is still running?
For storage of passwords, I would highly suggest you to use dashlane.com free version. It offers all the features you need. You just need to remember your master password and it will generate all future passwords with very high entropy for you. A password manager is insanely recommended. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Best password manager for Windows, MacOS, and iOS today?
Dashlane is just installed. Neeva search is including it in their annual premium plan on discount for another day, and I decided to try it for a year. But I cannot use dashlane.com to upload the CSV on my iPad (cellular) right now, so my opinion is not set yet. I have seen happy customers using this, but it is $60 a year for the middle plan. Yikes. • Lastpass: Hackers stole customer vault data in cloud storage breach
I'm obsessive about finding exactly the best app for me, and I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. This is exactly why. I’ve been using Enpass for years because I choose where my data is stored (and because it's customizable in ways no other PWM is — at least not the 20+ that I've tried). In my case, Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box. (iCloud, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline are... Source: over 2 years ago
  • LastPass says hackers stole customers’ password vaults
I was never comfortable with the centralized cloud PWMs. That's one of the reasons I chose Enpass after test-driving a couple dozen PWMs — it's up to me where my data is stored. I have several separate vaults (work, personal, shared with family, etc.) on Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Box. (iCloud, NextCloud, WebDAV, or completely offline are options too). Never happier about that choice than today. For a... Source: over 2 years ago
