A great way to follow RSS

I was looking for something like this for quite some time. I've been using Fraidycat for about 2 months now. It's very simple and easy to use. I love the you can organize your feeds by simple "emoji" tags. Also, the idea of setting an importance/frequency level per feed is great.

The Best RSS Feed Readers for Streamlining the Internet
Feedly is probably the most popular RSS reader on the web, for good reason. It's well-designed and easy to use, and it offers great search options so it's easy to add all your favorite sites. It lacks one thing that makes Inoreader slightly better for my use—the YouTube syncing—but otherwise Feedly is an excellent choice.

How to use Feedly with Twitter to replace Nuzzel
Here's how to use Feedly Pro+ to view Twitter and Twitter Lists—along with a few tweaks to the default settings. My examples will focus on Twitter Lists, but you may add user accounts and Twitter searches in Feedly, as well. • Reading RSS content is a skilled activity
There are a couple readers that avoid that by providing a calmer experience without a firehose and without background fetching. https://blogcat.org (I made this one) https://fraidyc.at (this is the inspiration for many calm readers) https://cblgh.itch.io/rad-reader (multiplatform and super calm). - Source: Hacker News / 4 days ago

For reference, and not implying it's better or worse than your work OP, I've pleasantly used Fraidycat (https://fraidyc.at/) in the past. It's a webextension, so completely local, and also incorporates the idea of having a "calmer" experience: no infinite list of links to check, different update rates, ... • Did rachelbythebay.com block my IP address because of my feed reader?
I'm using Fraidycat (https://fraidyc.at/) which I enjoy a lot, but given her recent crusade against feed readers, I suspect that that's the reason that my IP address got blocked or so. (At least, that's what my ISP is leading me to believe because there is no issue on their end). Anyone else out there on the blacklist? - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago

  • Ask HN: What's your favorite RSS feed reader?
Feedly [0] (web app and on IOS) has been amazing since Google Reader died. On IOS it makes flipping through items and saving them for later a smooth and relatively fast experience. [0] https://feedly.com. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
  • Exploit the feedback potential with syndication links
With the introduction of my blogroll, my morning routine has changed without me having planned it. By displaying the latest blogger posts there by fetsching them while the site is build once a day, I start reading there instead of in my standard feed reader feedly. I no longer subscribe to the 40 blogs currently on my list, but use Read You as a blogroll reader in case I miss something. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
