   very simple cuz i dont need to read manuals to know how to use everything, even filters and selection stuff

  KDE community has many apps (especially Plasma desktop, Kdenlive and Krita) and the devs are friendly and awesome ! Scribus is in total need of help. (only two devs are maintaining the whole project) Manjaro is a popular Arch based distro that helps Linux users to benefit from rolling release model while maintaining stability. • Every time you search on Google, look at Gmail, write a Google doc, etc, without using Chrome as your default browser, Google will nag you to use Chrome instead of alternative browsers. This is unfair and anti-competitive. Should the EU step in?

  KDE makes a lot of nice daily software, like krita (graphic editor), kde connect (sync stuff among devices), kate (great text editor), and many more. Source: about 2 years ago

  The difference between the two is how recent their KDE software is and how often said KDE software is updated. KDE Neon's KDE software is up-to-date, on par with the latest stable releases, updated every week maybe, be it features or bug fixes (again, KDE software only, see apps.kde.org).   I'm very interested in how they'll keep AI-generated images out though. I don't think trained ML models for verifying/falsifying images as AI-generated will be that useful for very long as AI image generation models will keep improving too. More likely we'll have to resort to a 'proof of work' sort of thing which could be a mandatory speedpaint/timelapse or a straight-up automated solution like Ibispaint. Source: about 2 years ago

  Most illustration software e.g. Photoshop or Krita have integrated or plugin-based recording functionality for that too. And then there is Ibispaint (check it out) which tracks your progress and doesn't even let you upload to the gallery on their website without the automatically generated speedpaint. • Regulating AI art will be a disaster

  What we need is positive proof for hand-drawn digital paintings. Rather than innocent until proven guilty it should be guilty until proven innocent.   Iirc Photoshop and Krita for instance have a tool for recording integrated into their software but I've also come across the software/platform Ibispaint which automatically tracks the creation process in their software from the moment you create a new file and if you upload it to their website (which is a sort of art gallery in itself) it will automatically generate and upload a 1-minute speedpaint along with...
