There are plenty of online resources that can assist you. For example, myfitnesspal.com has a guided setup under "goals" that calculates the amount of calories you should consume based on your age, height/weight and level of activity. Source: about 1 year ago
It only takes a second to put your piece of chicken on a food scale and write down how much it weighs. Then it only takes a second to goto myfitnesspal.com and log it into your daily food diary. It seems overwhelming having to weigh and pay attention to everything you eat, but its actually really easy and becomes second nature over time. Source: about 1 year ago
That is, of the 632 calories on Day 2, 16g were from protein, 42g from carbs, and 48g from fat. The myfitnesspal.com website makes it easy to input 'manual' foods from my respective meals, where I put in the calories, grams of fat, carbs and protein, and it calculates out the percentages / calories on a given day's diary. Hi there, good job losing the weight you have. I recommend myfitnesspal.com. You will need your accurate height also. But you can play around with the figures to see how much of a deficit you need/what your calorie goal should be etc. Ive used it for years, there is also a massive community and food database :). I have no idea how many hours I've put into it over 19 years. It has needed surprisingly little care and... - Source: Hacker News / 3 days ago

I tried multiple times, like really hard, over the course of 2-3 years, and all it delivered was a feeling of being insanely stupid. I started my attempts around 2012 (kind of around Google killing Reader). I could not understand if that app even deliver that same functionality as Reader, could not... - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago

> I want to host my own RSS server though and then maybe use a native reader to view it, like an RSS of RSS feeds. I've been using Tiny Tiny RSS to do this for years. It works very well. https://tt-rss.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
