Looks useful for gradients. Strange that nobody mentions Paletton. It's my go to tool when picking colors: https://paletton.com/ You start with the base, and then also get gradients to adjacent colors in the palette. Could use a pipeline to this one website that scans colors from images and states their name, could be a quick new command like a special screenshot that is sent and scanned then named. This is not a logo change. It's a corporate identity redesign with a whole slew of elements and - assuming the art director has done their job - a new design guide that uses the same typography, color palette (because someone apparently didn't listen to instructions on accessibility when they took their design degree), geometry rules, so forth.
