SHAXPIR Reviews

  1. Great Product - Poor Customer Service

I love the product! Love using it, and it works a treat for me. However, if something goes wrong, the customer service is very poor. There are two versions of SHAXPIR. A free version, and a paid version, yet support is the same - almost non-existent! - It seems to be a 'one-man band' who is the support, perhaps he should have some more help?

  • Tikz.net – Graphics with TikZ in LaTeX
I am always amazed by how much effort has gone into Tikz. However, I always end up reaching for a manual diagramming tool (Omnigraffle on the Mac), along with cutting and pasting snippets of typeset text using LaTeXit. I saw this tool on HN some time back and it seems to have evolved into a very promising product: LaTeX typesetting, manual drawing, programmable with Lua. The price seems excellent too ($25).... - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
