  This won't really work in your head so you will need to use some tools, I used to do this on paper, then in a text file where you can indent tasks to show they are a subtask of a bigger task, and finally I started using Tatask (Full disclosure I built it).   So I dont go out of the house much due to poor health and when I do go somewhere its very interesting when a small newsagency store has a fridge behind the counter and I ask for a drink because I cant physically get it and they wanna charge a $3 service fee for a $2 bottle of water?
