Now if you decide to use environmental variables, you must have a strategy for storing and managing your secrets. The most popular way of doing this is by using password managers. Password managers like LastPass or 1pass are efficient ways of storing and managing your secrets. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
I did. I could not find anything in the browser add-on or in the app. However, after logging into lastpass.com, I am able to select Advanced settings on the left panel and choose Export. Source: over 2 years ago

I can kind of understand what it may have detected on when it compares teams.microsoft.com and portal.azure.com - yeah, you caught me using my Single Sign On password on two separate domains. For shame, right? Same for lastpass.com as well since we're fully federated. Source: over 2 years ago
Look into getting a good password manager. I use lastpass; it creates a password vault as a file on your local machine, where it stores encrypted passwords, payment cards, and notes. It saves the encrypted file to their central server, so you can access it from lastpass.com or by setting up the lastpass plug-in on another browser on another machine. It lets you create a different random password for each account... Source: over 2 years ago
Install and use a password manager (1password, LastPass). Update all your passwords with unique and complex versions. Source: over 2 years ago
Use a password manager to generate and save passwords. Most common is Last Pass, which I have used for many years now. Source: almost 3 years ago
In the meantime and for the future, I'd recommend LastPass (https://lastpass.com/). I've been using it for years and have hundreds and hundreds of passwords managed in there, and they're all different. Source: almost 3 years ago
Please note that some services are not VPN-friendly and they can block known VPN IP addresses. However, please try switching between multiple available servers on your plan, try logging into lastpass.com from another web browser to eliminate the chance of this being a browser issue, or try changing between different protocols (https://protonvpn.com/support/how-to-change-vpn-protocols/) to see if this helps. I've not examined the password manager yet. I'm using Keepass and lastpass.comdefaultPref("network.http.windows-sso.enabled", false); // disable MS auto authentication via ssosetting this value to 'true' in your librewolf.overrides.cfg might help. Source: over 3 years ago
There have been several breaches, and plaintext passwords were not leaked (because they don't have them). However two other things concern me. The first is that the 2021 Android version has seven trackers in it, and more importantly, I recall from a year or two ago an article which mentioned that if you decrypt your vault using the lastpass.com web page, your master password is sent to them and kept. My case is... Source: over 3 years ago

The BEST thing you can do for yourself and your friends is to get setup with a password manager. Check out bitwarden.com if you don't want to pay. Premium competitors would be 1password.com and lastpass.com. It's a bit of upfront work, but I promise you'll be happier. Not only is it safer because you're using a different password per website, but it's a better experience for you as a user - no more forgetting... Source: over 3 years ago
Passwords: If you don't have one, sign up for a password manager. If you only use the website and maybe one device (I forget, they've changed at least 2 or 3 times), you can get lastpass.com for free. I'd put everything there. Also, if you install their app and/or browser extension(s) on a computer where he logged in, it'll automatically pull in any passwords stored on that PC in any browser method. Makes it... We ask you to store all Contra passwords using LastPass Contra team account. You must not share passwords in public Slack channels or over email. Use LastPass built-in password sharing functionality to share passwords with other teammates. Source: about 4 years ago
Use loooong passwords. The longer it is, the longer it takes for a computer to smash it's way through it. Use a mix of Numbers, Symbols and Capital letters. The important thing here is it's long and something you can remember. Pass Phrases are better than passwords. Example passphrase GMEi$daBestStonkEver!!!!! See how easy that is to remember and it's long AF. Obviously don't use the same password everywhere. You... Source: about 4 years ago
