You need Moonlight - https://moonlight-stream.org/ Nvidia discontinued/are discontinuing the GameStream service that you would have relied on before. Source: 5 months ago
Put Moonlight on the Shield and Sunshine on your PC. Alternatively, I think you can still use Steamlink to stream from PC to Shield TV. Source: 5 months ago
Moonlight Game Streaming (version 12.0.1): Play games from your PC on Android. Source: 7 months ago
Most of the problem is to do with the limitations of RDP, (edit, RDP = Remote Desktop Protocol) look into an alternative like https://moonlight-stream.org/ or parsec. Source: 7 months ago
An easy way to do this would be to setup something like this (it's free) https://moonlight-stream.org/ if you have an Nvidia GPU. Otherwise, Steam can share your screen in a similar way but in my experience it's not that good. Source: 7 months ago

This is kind of off topic now, but I think you can use moonlight to stream on a local network: Https://moonlight-stream.org/. Source: 10 months ago
If money is a problem, the free solution could be the easiest. Game streaming. Setup Sunshine on your Ally (or whatever PC you want to stream from) and download Moonlight on your TV. Increased latency is negligible. Source: 10 months ago
Unless you are running some simple games, remote desktop will not have high enough performance for gaming (in fact, RDP doesn't provide GPU access, AFAIK). You need something like Parsec or Moonlight for game streaming. Source: 10 months ago
Moonlight is the client (what you would run on the Deck): https://moonlight-stream.org/. Source: 11 months ago
You need https://github.com/m4dEngi/RemotePlayWhatever to do that or skip Steam altogether and go for https://moonlight-stream.org/ instead. Source: 11 months ago
According to r/Steam/comments/g6ifxq/can_you_stream_remote_play_while_someone_uses_the/, it's a no as expected because yours is an uncommon request as Remote Play assumes you're out there to play the game, not do 2 things at 1 PC. Not a workaround (it means a trick for Steam) but you can use -other- solutions like https://moonlight-stream.org/ and since it's a 3rd party program, Steam won't interfere how it works. I've had better luck with running a Sunshine server + Moonlight client. It works well enough that for anything but a rapid-twitch shooter deal you pretty much don't notice the input lag. Source: 11 months ago
Recently, I discovered the Moonlight client in conjunction with Nvidia Shield features to stream the games I have on my PC. I can even stream desktop access using mstsc.exe. Does anyone know if there is something similar (other than VNC or screen sharing) to achieve the same on macOS as the host? Are there any solutions compatible with the Moonlight client? Thanks. You can also install sunshinestream.readthedocs.io (on Ally) and https://moonlight-stream.org/ (on laptop) for a similar experience with more customisation. Source: 11 months ago
Assuming that you have a PC, GPU, and monitor/TV that are all capable enough for what you want to play, I would check out Parsec or Sunshine + Moonlight. (Now that Nvidia discontinued the Gamestream service, Moonlight, is the go-to FOSS equivlaent.). Source: 11 months ago
Sunshine server & moonlight client. Sunshine should be able to be setup so the controller can be used while connected on the pc. Source: 11 months ago
If you have an Nvidia GPU you can try moonlight. It worked to play Genshin (and other games) remotely on my steamdeck from my PC, and if you don't look at the deck's screen it's essentially the same as having it as a controller. There might also be an option in the moonlight app on the deck to disable video output, but I'm not 100% sure. Source: 11 months ago
If you have NVidia moonlight is the best option. https://moonlight-stream.org/. Source: 11 months ago
They're both open-source projects based on the NVIDIA GameStream protocol. Moonlight is the client, and Sunshine is the server (which, fortunately, doesn't require an NVIDIA card unlike the original GameStream). Source: 11 months ago
You could try Sunshine Server and Moonlight Client. Apparently Steam link performance is dogshit in comparison. Source: 12 months ago
