As a B2B database, ZoomInfo certainly has a lot to offer. Its detailed business information on people and companies is impressive, and I've found it to be a useful resource for researching potential clients and partners.
However, I do have a few criticisms of the product. Firstly, its pricing is quite steep, especially compared to other B2B databases on the market. This makes it difficult for smaller businesses or startups to justify the cost. Additionally, while the information on ZoomInfo is generally accurate and up-to-date, I have come across a few instances where the information was incomplete or outdated.
Despite these drawbacks, ZoomInfo is still a good resource for business information. It just might not be the best option out there. If you're willing to pay for a premium service, then ZoomInfo could be worth considering. However, if you're looking for more cost-effective alternatives, there are several options to consider.
classified-ads might be a bit more popular than ZoomInfo. We know about 7 links to it since March 2021 and only 5 links to ZoomInfo. Varies. There is no optimal solution. http://katiska.org/classified-ads/ does not store passwords. It stores RSA keys encrypted with symmectric crypto where "password" is used to encrypt/decrypt the actual RSA key. When you enter your password, the program will try to decrypt every RSA key in storage. When it opens one, the opened RSA key will be used to open rest of the stuff that is stored in disk encrypted with... Source: over 1 year ago
They're using messaging apps that are easy to block - take https://katiska.org/classified-ads/ that has only moving addresses and is therefore more interesting to block. Turkish translation is still missing, PM if you wish to contribute. Source: over 1 year ago
Dudes think they might have "free speech" in platform that is owned by someone? Owner always decides what is free and what is not. There is non-owned platforms like https://freenetproject.org/ or https://katiska.org/classified-ads/ that have no owner, where the users decide what is suitable and what not. There users provide the service to each other and there is no central organization banning users or dictating... Source: over 1 year ago
Whoop, reddit has classified ads too? Here http://katiska.org/classified-ads/ is application made specifically for classified ads ; it is not website but an app that needs to be installed. Open source, free to use, allows infinite number of categories for ads. Source: almost 2 years ago
You can still start up a server if you know how to maintain classified-ads http://katiska.org/classified-ads/ that is designed to be really easy to start and maintain. Basically install the app, select a password for yourself and leave it running. It is P2P messaging app, there is no central server. It serves only other instances of the same application so everybody participating must be running the same app. Source: almost 2 years ago
For the phone calls - there's a decent chance they got your number from zoominfo.com - you can go there and request to be removed. Source: about 1 year ago
I just found a few data collator sites, zoominfo.com and signalhire.com are just two - they seem to scrape sites like Linkedin etc and collate everything. Personal numbers can be found pretty easily, if you've ever signed up for a business identification number it could be there, could be in a data leak somewhere - these companies are pretty shady and will buy data from places to just get a lead. Zoominfo.com is used by larger companies. Source: about 2 years ago
I suppose the easiest way is to just search the company on the intrawebs and see what their web site pulls up. You can kind of tell from there and their Yelp reviews/Google reviews, if they are their own company or some kind of contractor type company. I also used zoominfo.com to get a sense of how big the company was. You'll probably be able to tell from there if they are their own company or part of a larger... Source: over 2 years ago
